Meulaboh, Aceh, Oct. 12 -- A Vietnamese worker injured in a stone-throwing incident at a gold mining site in West Aceh has returned home for medical treatment, Indonesian immigration officials said Saturday.
Vu Dhin Chu, 46, employed by PT Magellanic Garuda Kencana, departed Indonesia via Sultan Iskandar Muda International Airport in Aceh Besar on Friday, flying to Kuala Lumpur on AirAsia flight AK 420, officials confirmed.
"Vu Dhin Chu has left the country and returned to Vietnam," said Kharisma Subhan, acting head of immigration intelligence at the Meulaboh Class II Immigration Office, speaking on behalf of office head Jamaluddin.
