Jakarta, Oct. 22 -- The Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) has highlighted the crucial role of diplomacy and multilateral coordination in addressing online gambling, given the practice's cross-border nature.

The center's deputy for analysis and investigation, Danang Tri Hartono, said that most of the funds generated from the illegal activity are transferred overseas, depriving the Indonesian economy of vital circulation.
