Depok, West Java, April 14 -- The University of Indonesia (UI) will investigate allegations of sexual harassment involving a group of Law Faculty students linked to a leaked online chat group.
"Every form of sexual violence, including verbal acts occurring in digital or offline settings, constitutes a serious violation of the university's values, academic code, and prevailing laws," said Erwin Agustian Panigoro, UI Director of Public Relations, Media, Government and International Affairs, on Tuesday.
The university has assigned its Sexual Violence Prevention and Handling Task Force to investigate the case, including verifying reports, summoning those involved, and gathering evidence.
