Jakarta, July 29 -- His Majesty's Trade Commissioner (HMTC) for Asia Pacific Martin Kent said UK Export Finance (UKEF) is prepared to provide up to £4 billion in financing to support a wide range of development projects in Indonesia.

As the United Kingdom government's export credit agency, UKEF provides financing and insurance to help overseas buyers and investors implement projects using British goods and services.

"UKEF now has up to £4 billion of financing capacity available for Indonesia, and it stands ready to deploy that £4 billion to provide competitive UK financing solutions to support Indonesia's future ambitions," Kent said at the UK-Indonesia Railway Partnership Forum 2026 on Wednesday.
