Jakarta, Aug. 5 -- Danantara University has the potential to partner in national education development, University of Indonesia's (UI's) rector, Heri Hermansyah, stated here on Tuesday.

"When other institution establishes a university, University of Indonesia sees it as a partner to (pursue) development of our campus, so it becomes better," Hermansyah confirmed.

He emphasized that UI does not view other national universities as rivals. Moreover, UI competes only with global campuses, the rector underlined.

He remarked that currently, UI is the only Indonesian varsity to be ranked among the top 200 global universities.
