Jakarta, Feb. 14 -- Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin stated that the two rebuilt community health centers (puskesmas) in Aceh are aimed at accelerating the recovery of health services so that disaster-affected communities can once again access basic care.

Sadikin said here on Saturday that the two facilities are located in Lokop Sub-district, East Aceh District, and in Jambur Lak-Lak area, Southeast Aceh District. Both were completed within just three weeks.

"We thank the Public Works Ministry for constructing these health centers very quickly. Cross-sector collaboration like this is crucial to ensure that public health services can recover promptly," he said.
