Jakarta, Aug. 6 -- Indonesia's National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) evacuated dozens of passengers and retrieved the bodies of two Chinese nationals who died in a speedboat accident off the coast of Sanur, Bali.
Edy Prakoso, Basarnas Director of Operations and Training, confirmed on Wednesday that 80 people were on board at the time of the incident, consisting of 73 local residents, two Chinese nationals, and five crew members.
"The latest data shows that 77 people have been declared safe, two have died, and one person is still missing today," he said.
The deceased were identified as Shi Guo Hong (20) and Hanqing Yu (37), both male Chinese nationals. One passenger, Kadek Adi (23), remains missing.
