Jakarta, Dec. 15 -- The Ministry of Transportation has announced a free bus travel program for up to 3,090 citizens planning homecoming or vacation trips during the 2025 Christmas and 2026 New Year holiday period.

"We have prepared a free bus travel quota of 3,090 passengers, alongside transport for 60 units of motorbikes," Director General of Land Transportation Aan Suhanan noted in a statement cited in Jakarta on Monday.

Highlighting the program as a routine transport initiative, he pointed out that registration is ongoing from December 12 to 21 and is accessible online via https://nusantara.kemenhub.go.id.
