Jakarta, May 21 -- The Ministry of Trade is preparing a new Ministerial Regulation governing the technical export requirements for three strategic commodities, namely crude palm oil (CPO), coal, and ferroalloy.

"Yes, the new regulation must be completed, tomorrow at the latest. But technically it must be completed today," Minister of Trade Budi Santoso informed when met in Jakarta on Thursday.

However, he did not elaborate on the contents of the regulation.

He only explained that the regulation will regulate the export mechanism for the three commodities in conjunction with the establishment of PT Danantara Sumberdaya Indonesia (DSI) as a state-owned enterprise (SOE) intended specifically for exports.
