Jakarta, Sept. 10 -- The Indonesian Defense Forces (TNI) and US Army personnel conducted missile-firing drills to strengthen their capabilities in responding to aerial threats during the 2026 Super Garuda Shield (SGS) Joint Exercise.

TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto said Thursday that SGS is an annual exercise involving 21 countries, with 4,743 personnel participating in 12 training activities.

"The Super Garuda Shield is held annually in Indonesia, with 21 countries attending this year. The total number of personnel participating in the training is 4,743, with 12 activities being conducted," he said in a press statement.
