Thai PM advocates calibrated re-engagement for Myanmar crisis
Jakarta, Aug. 4 -- Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said on Tuesday that Thailand is advocating a calibrated re-engagement approach to address the Myanmar crisis while keeping dialogue open.
Anutin made the remarks during a speech at the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta-his first to the headquarters as part of a two-day official visit to Indonesia.
"Thailand has advocated a calibrated re-engagement approach that keeps dialogue open and responds to realities on the ground while encouraging concrete progress," he said.
