Jakarta, Feb. 5 -- The Sumatra Post-Disaster Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Acceleration Task Force ensured that 27 out of 52 districts and cities affected by floods and landslides across three provinces of Sumatra have returned to normalcy.

"In the last two months, there has been a significant recovery, with 27 regions now fully restored to normal," the task force's chief, Tito Karnavian, said during the inauguration of temporary housing units for Sumatra flood victims, which was broadcast online on Thursday.

He noted that according to current data, 15 regions are nearing full recovery, with remaining issues still being addressed by the government.
