Jakarta, April 5 -- Chief of the Indonesian Military Army Staff (TNI AD), General Maruli Simanjuntak, confirmed that all compensations for the three Indonesian soldiers killed in southern Lebanon will be fully provided by the state.
"The state will continue to provide full attention and support," he said here on Sunday. He also assured that their families will remain part of the TNI's extended family.
Simanjuntak emphasized that the loss of the soldiers is a deep sorrow for the TNI, especially the Army, but their sacrifice in Lebanon's UN peacekeeping mission has served as a reminder that every assignment carries risks and demands dedication to the nation and humanity.
