Yogyakarta, Sept. 11 -- Forestry Ministry Secretary General Mahfudz said the Forest Area with Special Management (KHDPK) is aimed not only at preserving ecological functions but also at forest and land rehabilitation to provide various benefits for communities.

"We are directing KHDPK not only to preserve forest ecological functions, but also to support forest, land, and watershed rehabilitation, sustainable forest restoration, and to provide social and economic benefits for communities," Mahfudz said here on Friday.
