Jakarta, Sept. 1 -- South Jakarta City Government collaborate with National Police (Polri) and Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) to conduct patrols to prevent individuals from damaging public facilities, especially during demonstrations.
"Patrols involving Public Order Agency (Satpol PP), Polri and TNI are ongoing," South Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar, said during "Jaga Jakarta" declaration at South Jakarta Mayor's Office, Monday.
Anwar emphasized the importance of collaboration between relevant elements to ensure greater oversight to public facilities, especially in South area.
"Our territory was vast, so we must ask for helping from mass organizations and religious leaders to jointly safeguard our neighborhoods," he said.
