Tangerang, Banten, Sept. 3 -- The Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) confirmed that 20 students injured during recent riots occurred at demonstrations in various regions are still undergoing intensive treatment at hospitals.
"There are currently 20 children still being treated in hospitals. That is a nationwide figure from the recent protest incidents. None of them are in Jakarta," KPAI Commissioner Diyah Puspitarini informed here on Wednesday.
She stated that among the dozens of students who became victims of violence during the protests, one student has died, Andika Lutfi Falah (16), an 11th-grade student from public vocational high school SMK Negeri 14 in Tangerang District, Banten.
