Tangerang, Banten, June 7 -- PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia, operator of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, said flight operations continued without disruption after smoke emerged at Terminal 2 on Saturday, with the affected area restored to normal within minutes.

A plume of smoke was brought under control quickly, and all impacted sections of the terminal have resumed normal operations, Yudistiawan, assistant deputy for communication and legal affairs at the airport, said in a statement.

The airport's rapid response enabled conditions at Terminal 2 to be stabilized within a short period, allowing passenger processing and terminal activities to continue without prolonged interruptions.
