Jakarta, Aug. 14 -- President Prabowo Subianto announced that state-owned enterprise (SOE) dividend payouts rose 67 percent in 2025 to Rp142.3 trillion (approximately US$7.98 billion), up from Rp85.5 trillion (US$4.79 billion) recorded in 2024.

Speaking at the 2026 Annual Session of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) and the Joint Session of the House of Representatives (DPR) and Regional Representatives Council (DPD) on Friday, President Prabowo attributed the financial surge to governance reforms and corrected profit reporting across state firms.
