Jakarta, Aug. 4 -- Making a case for the improvement of school health units (UKS), Primary and Secondary Education Minister Abdul Mu'ti said here on Monday that properly functioning UKS can support the free health checkup (CKG) program.

He said that the UKS upgrade is part of the education institution revitalization initiative, which is included in the government's Quick Win programs.

"Schools need to have UKS, right, and it's part of our program in the ministry. So today, we are also seeing the health unit facility in this school. Alhamdulillah, it's (good, hence it) supports CKG," he added after reviewing the health check program at Cideng 2 Elementary School.
