Jakarta, Aug. 26 -- A Saudi company plans to purchase ready-to-eat meals worth US$12 million from an Indonesian producer to meet the needs of Hajj pilgrims in 2026, according to Indonesia's Ministry of Trade.

In a statement on Tuesday, Trade Minister Budi Santoso said the ministry views the deal as a strategic move to strengthen trade ties between the two nations, particularly in Hajj services.

"All efforts to boost exports continue to be carried out to significantly drive Indonesia's economic growth," Santoso said.
