Denpasar, Bali, Sept. 13 -- An Australian woman died after falling from a cliff at Kelingking Beach on Nusa Penida, Bali, on Saturday, with rescuers recovering her body after a challenging operation.

The victim was identified as Cronin Brianna Lani, 30. She fell from the Kelingking Beach cliff in Bunga Mekar Village on Saturday morning.

Cakra Negara, coordinator of the Nusa Penida Alert Unit of Basarnas Bali, said the woman was believed to have fallen at about 9 a.m. local time.

The woman was reportedly looking for a path toward the cliff edge on her own when she slipped and fell into a ravine.

Basarnas Bali received the report at about 9:50 a.m. and dispatched a rescue team to the scene, coordinating with other search-and-rescue pers...
