Jakarta, March 29 -- A detachment of ships from the Russian Navy's Pacific Fleet arrived in Jakarta's Tanjung Priok Port on Sunday for upcoming engagements with the Indonesian Navy (TNI-AL), including joint drills.

According to a written statement from the Russian Embassy in Jakarta, the ship detachment visiting Jakarta comprised the Gromky-335 corvette, Petropavlovsk Kamchatsky B-274 submarine, and Andrey Stepanov tugboat.

"A joint drill on maneuver and communication has been planned," the embassy confirmed on Sunday.
