Jakarta, April 15 -- Indonesia taps into the export potential of durian from Parigi Moutong District, Central Sulawesi, valued at up to Rp1 trillion (US$58.33 million) by 2026, Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono stated.
He noted a significant demand for Indonesian durian from consumers, particularly in the Chinese market.
"In a three-month period (January-March 2026), it is said (Parigi Moutong durian exports) could be worth Rp400 billion, meaning that more than Rp1 trillion could be exported to China in one year," the minister said here on Wednesday.
