Jakarta, April 23 -- Indonesia has condemned Israeli forces for installing a military propaganda banner at the ruins of the Indonesian Hospital in northern Gaza, Palestine.

"Indonesia strongly condemns and protests the placement of the 'Rising Lion' banner by Israeli forces over the ruins of the Indonesian Hospital in Gaza," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement on social media platform X on Wednesday.

The ministry stressed that the use of military symbols and propaganda at the site of a destroyed hospital, particularly when linked to a specific military operation, is highly provocative and cannot be justified.
