Jakarta, July 24 -- President Prabowo Subianto reaffirmed that Indonesia's support for Palestinian statehood remains an absolute foreign policy priority that cannot be compromised under any circumstances.

"We are good with all our strengths, but what we cannot negotiate is supporting the Palestinian independence struggle," President Prabowo stated during his address at the 28th anniversary of the National Awakening Party (PKB) in Jakarta, Thursday (July 23).

Despite this firm stance, Prabowo underscored that Indonesia will maintain its long-standing independent and active foreign policy.
