Jakarta, May 15 -- Deputy Minister of Trade Dyah Roro Esti emphasized Indonesia's commitment to strengthen strategic cooperation with Russia, particularly in the trade and economic sectors of both countries.

In a statement on Friday, Esti said that trade relations between the two countries continue to show a promising trend.

"We want to ensure this momentum can be enhanced through increased mutually beneficial trade and broader investment cooperation," she noted during a bilateral meeting with the Russian Deputy Minister of Economic Development Vladimir Ilyichev in Kazan, Russia.
