New York, Sept. 26 -- The Republic of Indonesia has reaffirmed its commitment to advancing global financial health, which Foreign Minister Sugiono described as key to building community resilience.

Speaking during the High-Level Breakfast Meeting on Advancing Financial Health, held on the sidelines of the 80th UN General Assembly on Thursday, Minister Sugiono highlighted the critical role of financial health in achieving sustainable development goals.

Financial health is key to building resilience, Sugiono stated, while noting Indonesia's progress in financial literacy, which rose to 49.7 percent in 2023, while also recognizing continuing challenges such as low household savings.
