Denpasar, Aug. 25 -- Indonesia's Environment Minister Hanif Faisol Nurofiq plans to gather all provincial governors to prepare a national carbon market pitch for the upcoming COP30 climate summit in Brazil.

"I will invite the governors to join me at COP30 to promote and negotiate our carbon potential," Hanif said in a virtual address at Bali Climate Week 2025 on Monday.

Indonesia will carry the theme High Integrity Carbon at the UN climate conference, emphasizing its commitment to the Paris Agreement and readiness to engage in transparent, rule-based carbon markets.
