Jakarta, Sept. 30 -- The Indonesian government will launch a nationwide internship program on October 15 to connect university graduates with industry needs, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said on Tuesday.
The program, called Siap Kerja or Ready for Work, is designed to provide hands-on experience through an integrated digital platform, he said after a cabinet meeting with President Prabowo Subianto at the Presidential Palace.
"The Siap Kerja platform will start on October 15. Companies are already uploading their data, and internship registration will open on the launch date," Hartarto told reporters.
