Nusa Dua, Bali, Oct. 8 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Population and Family Development has launched a digital app to monitor the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program for pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and toddlers not enrolled in early childhood education.

"The application is ready," BKKBN Secretary Budi Setiyono said Wednesday at the Asia Pacific Family Planning 2030 Forum.

The app allows real-time tracking of child development indicators such as height, weight, skin tone, and hair condition.

Children showing signs of stunting despite receiving MBG will be referred to the nearest community health center for further care, he added.
