Jakarta, May 20 -- The Primary and Secondary Education Ministry launched the SMK 3+1 Overseas Employability Class Program to strengthen vocational students' skills and prepare graduates for international employment opportunities.

Director General of Secondary and Special Education Tatang Muttaqin said on Wednesday the program aims to produce vocational high school graduates capable of competing in the global labor market.

"The SMK 3+1 Program is part of efforts to strengthen vocational education and prepare adaptive, globally competitive human resources," Muttaqin said during an online event broadcast on YouTube.
