Jakarta, Sept. 29 -- Indonesia's Minister of National Development Planning Rachmat Pambudy highlighted the urgent need to mainstream blue carbon to balance economic growth, environmental capacity, and ecosystem sustainability.

"Through the launch of the 2026-2045 Blue Carbon Ecosystem Protection and Management Roadmap, Indonesia officially transforms its climate strategy from a land-based approach to a holistic land-and-ocean strategy," Pambudy said in an official statement received here on Tuesday.
