Jakarta, March 30 -- Indonesia's Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak met with his Saudi Arabian counterpart Abdulfattah bin Sulaiman Mashat in Medina on Sunday (March 29) to discuss potential increase in hajj flight costs.
The matter draws joint attention from both countries, considering the likelihood of rising fuel prices amid global conflicts causing an energy crisis. Nonetheless, Simanjuntak affirmed that pilgrims' safety remains the top priority.
