Jakarta, Aug. 8 -- President Prabowo Subianto stated he received a report indicating that the revenue of Indonesia's sovereign wealth fund, Danantara Indonesia, surged by approximately 400 percent during its first year of operation.

However, he emphasized that the figures still require verification and auditing.

"I received a report that the income of Danantara has increased by roughly 400 percent. Still, we must audit and verify this," Subianto said during the launch of 10 books authored by Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia on Friday.

According to the President, even if the verified figure falls short of 400 percent, growth of 200 to 300 percent would still reflect a significant increase for a single year.
