Jakarta, Oct. 17 -- Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Dadan Hindayana said Indonesia's Red and White Village Cooperatives will serve as a key support system for the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program by ensuring steady food supplies through guaranteed purchases.
"SPPGs - or Nutritional Fulfillment Service Units - will create demand. A new market is emerging, and it guarantees purchases with our partners," Hindayana said in Bekasi, West Java, on Friday.
He explained that integrating the cooperatives into the MBG supply chain will allow farmers, breeders, and fishermen to coordinate production and distribution more effectively.
