Jakarta, May 21 -- Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa is prepared to present findings on trade misinvoicing to President Prabowo Subianto in a closed-door meeting at the Presidential Palace Complex in Jakarta on Thursday.

According to him, his office conducted a random inspection and found three shipments from 10 companies operating in the crude palm oil (CPO) industry.

"They were clearly manipulating export prices to the United States," Purbaya stated.

While unable to name the 10 companies, he provided an example of trade invoice manipulation by one of them.

For example, one company recorded an export price of US$2.6 million, while the price paid by the importer in the United States was US$4.2 million.
