Jakarta, Sept. 1 -- Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR) Puan Maharani has urged law enforcers to unravel the case surrounding Bambang Setiyawan, 59, a mirror seller who reportedly died following unrest in Pejompongan, Central Jakarta.

"We want law enforcers to investigate this matter thoroughly," she remarked at the parliament complex in Jakarta on Tuesday.

Puan made the remarks amid public speculation regarding violent incidents in the aftermath of demonstrations in Jakarta on Aug. 27. Bambang was found unconscious at night and later died despite receiving medical treatment.
