North Penajam Paser, Aug. 7 -- Indonesia's Nusantara Capital Authority said 67 private investors have committed Rp74.54 trillion (about US$4.56 billion) to the country's new capital, while public-private partnership projects have reached Rp134.22 trillion (about US$8.21 billion).

Nusantara Capital Authority Head Basuki Hadimuljono announced the figures during talks on investment opportunities with Central Java provincial officials in Sepaku, North Penajam Paser, East Kalimantan, on Friday.

Central Java Governor Ahmad Luthfi, along with district heads and deputy district heads from across the province, attended the meeting on collaboration and investment opportunities in Indonesia's future capital.
