Jakarta, May 20 -- President Prabowo Subianto has asked his cabinet ministers to improve bureaucratic governance to create a positive business climate in the country, including by accelerating business licensing.

"The government must improve all our institutions to create a favorable business climate. We must not continue to exploit and harass entrepreneurs," President Prabowo said.

He made the statement during the presentation of the Macroeconomic Framework and Fiscal Policy Principles (KEM-PPKF) at the 19th Plenary Session of the House of Representatives for the 5th Session of the 2025-2026 Session Year at the parliament complex, Senayan, here on Wednesday.
