Jakarta, March 31 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto witnessed the announcement of 10 memoranda of understanding (MoUs) and agreements between Indonesian and Japanese business players worth US$22.6 billion during the Indonesia-Japan Business Forum in Tokyo on Monday.

Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya confirmed on Monday that representatives from companies in both countries took turns presenting their agreed partnerships before the president.

The announced partnerships cover several key sectors, including the development of clean energy-based downstream projects such as methanol production from carbon emissions, oil and gas exploration, geothermal energy, and the strengthening of inclusive financial ecosystems.
