President Prabowo reaffirms state support for people in remote areas
Jakarta, Aug. 13 -- President Prabowo Subianto reaffirmed the state's commitment to supporting all Indonesian citizens, particularly those in remote areas, in achieving a better quality of life and welfare.
"The state must be present for citizens in the most remote areas. Those living furthest from major hubs must enjoy a good quality of life," President Prabowo said while virtually inaugurating bridges and clean water facilities from Jakarta on Thursday.
He expressed appreciation and gratitude to the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (Polri) for their role in constructing 3,395 bridges and 3,000 clean water facilities.
