Jakarta, Aug. 4 -- President Prabowo Subianto instructed Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Minister Bahlil Lahadalia to immediately take measured steps alongside state electricity firm PT PLN (Persero) to resolve ongoing power outages affecting several areas of Kalimantan.

The directive was issued during a limited cabinet meeting at the Presidential Palace, which also included the Head of the Development Control and Special Investigation Agency (Bappisus) Aris Marsudiyanto as well as Chief Operating Officer of Danantara Indonesia and Head of the State-Owned Enterprises Supervisory Agency (BP BUMN) Dony Oskaria.
