Jakarta, June 2 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto conducted a hygiene and food safety inspection at a nutrition fulfillment service unit (SPPG) producing meals for the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program in Palmerah, Jakarta, on Tuesday.

He visited the facility, which is one of more than 29,000 established nationwide, to ensure that production and distribution processes comply with government safety and quality standards.

National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Head Dadan Hindayana welcomed the president upon arriving at the SPPG at 9:30 a.m. local time.

Prabowo then received a report from Hindayana and listened to explanations from the SPPG chief, who walked him to a greenhouse.
