Bantul, Oct. 9 -- President Prabowo Subianto is expected to inaugurate the Pandansimo Bridge, a key piece of infrastructure set to improve connectivity in Bantul District, Yogyakarta, Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) stated.

"This bridge has been under construction since November 2022, and it is ready to begin operation this year. Let us hope that President Prabowo will soon inaugurate this bridge, which will interconnect regions," he remarked.

Speaking while inspecting the project in Bantul on Thursday, AHY underscored that the Pandansimo Bridge, projected to ease mobility between Bantul and Kulon Progo districts, holds strategic value.
