Jakarta, April 10 -- President Prabowo Subianto appointed nine members of the Indonesian Ombudsman for the 2026-2031 term at the State Palace in Jakarta on Friday.

Under Presidential Decree No. 20/P of 2026, Hery Susanto was appointed chairperson and Rahmadi Indra Tektona deputy chairperson, along with seven other members.

The officials took an oath of office, pledging to carry out their duties and not accept any form of gratification.

The ceremony was attended by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka and several cabinet members, including Coordinating Minister for Law, Human Rights, Immigration, and Corrections Yusril Ihza Mahendra and Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs Djamari Chaniago.
