Jakarta, Sept. 23 -- President Prabowo Subianto monitored the latest developments in efforts to tackle forest and land fires in several parts of Sumatra and Kalimantan, with around 209.78 hectares of land still undergoing firefighting operations as of Wednesday.

President monitored the condition during a limited meeting on disaster management via video conference in Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on Wednesday.

The agenda specifically discussed developments in forest and land fires, particularly in West Kalimantan and Central Kalimantan.
