Jakarta, Sept. 27 -- Chief of the TNI Information Center (Kapuspen), Major General (Mar) Freddy Ardianzah stated that preparations for the 80th anniversary of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) in Monas, Central Jakarta, have reached 80 percent.

"Preparations have currently reached around 80 percent. The rehearsal at Monas and other supporting activities are running smoothly," Freddy said when contacted by Antara in Jakarta on Friday.

Freddy explained that during preparations for the main event, there were some challenges, one of which was rainy weather that disrupted the rehearsal sessions.

"But these issues have been managed, thanks to the readiness of our personnel and the support of various parties," said Freddy.
