Jakarta, Oct. 30 -- State Secretary Minister, Prasetyo Hadi, stated that President Prabowo wants strengthened regulations to ensure effective drug eradication.

"The President wants us to work hard together, from a regulatory perspective, to ensure eradication," Hadi said at the ANTARA Heritage Center in Jakarta on Thursday.

Hadi said this aligns with one of the priority programs in Astacita, which places the war on drugs at the top of the government's agenda.

He stated that drug abuse is a serious threat that has impacted more than 3.3 million people in Indonesia and has the potential to harm future generations.
