Jakarta, Oct. 8 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto departed Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base in Jakarta for Central Halmahera District, North Maluku, on Thursday morning to inaugurate 11 projects under the national natural resource downstreaming drive.

The Halmahera agenda is centered on a downstreaming program valued at around Rp180 trillion (US$10.2 billion), comprising the first export shipment of electric vehicle batteries and the inauguration of 11 downstreaming projects, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said.

He added that the 11 projects comprise the commercialization of four industrial projects and the groundbreaking of seven new industrial projects within the Indonesia Weda Bay Industrial Park.
