Jakarta, Oct. 22 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto announced his plans to attend the 2025 G20 Summit, hosted by South Africa, in Johannesburg on November 22-23.

During a joint press conference at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Wednesday, President Prabowo stated that the invitation from South Africa, which holds 2025 G20 presidency, was an honor for Indonesia to attend and to provide support for South-South cooperation.

"I plan to attend, and I think this will symbolize the strength of South-South cooperation. We are confident that South Africa's leadership will move forward toward a more inclusive and equitable global economic order," he stated before South African President Cyril Ramaphosa.
